The Moon is Far Away

In December of 1968 scientists flew to the moon and read the Bible to every human being on Earth who was able to hear them.  They asked God to bless all the people on “the good Earth.”

We do not fly to the moon in the 21st century.  President Kennedy proudly told us , “We choose to do these things not because they are easy but because they are hard.”  But flying to the moon is too hard so we don’t do it.

Scientists who respect the Bible are not real scientists.  Belief in the Bible is backward and impedes human progress.  People who believe in the Bible and the God of creation can’t do advanced things like fly to the moon.  Such important things must be left to the real scientists and inspiring leaders who know that the Bible is of no value and flying to the moon is too hard.

Asking the God of creation to bless all the people on the good Earth is an arrogant display of cultural imperialism and superstition.  The wise ones among us, the real scientists and inspiring leaders would never presume to impose such oppression upon all the people of the good Earth.  The Bible is backward, flying to the moon is too hard and it is better for the struggling, suffering people of the good Earth to labor under the lash of dictators, endure hard lives shortened by want and disease and never awaken to the potential they possess as a gift and inheritance of the God who made them.

Without a vision the people perish.  We have never been blinder.

    So the question was asked:

Is anything too hard for the Lord? Fortunately he can give a vision, and also cure blindness 😉

    Nice post btw.
